Celeste Ortiz has dedicated her career to enabling successful business growth through a strong people agenda. Celeste is passionate about healthcare innovation, and as Crossover Health’s Chief People Officer, she is motivated by the opportunity to build strong cultures like Crossover’s while creating capabilities that enable growth.
A senior human resources executive with more than 20 years of global experience in all facets of HR, Celeste has served as Group Vice President and Worldwide HR Director for Fortune 50 companies, including Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer, where she enabled major revenue growth and innovation through strong talent strategies. She has specialized in organization and team development, acquisition integration, talent development, healthcare benefits innovation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Celeste also currently serves as a member of SCAN Health Plan’s Board of Directors; her Board experience includes serving on Dignity Healthcare’s Northridge Hospital Board for eight years.
Celeste graduated with academic honors from the University of Southern California’s Marshall MBA program and she has a BS in Human Resources Management from Geneva College. She enjoys spending time at SoCal beaches with family and friends.
